you even had to tell yourself you don't care yet you replied anyway
hypocrisy
Let me put this in a way you might understand:
have shield-> player welkin spin to avoid perfect block -> player welkin is less able to chase due to spin -> you can get away at least for a bit
dont have shield -> player welkin melee boost and normal melee you knowing you have no perfect block -> you are far less likely to get away
if you can't figure out the correct input in controlled environment against AI you're definitely facerolling keyboard and failing in pvp.
To pass this test, just try to strafe in a circle, and when the energy runs out, use the shield. Don't fight him, don't try to beat him. Just run in circles while you have the energy.
All the tests have pretty clear timings and there is no creativity to pass, let's say.
Wow, incredibly well designed test. lol /s
Which is funny because when I managed to do it, the timer counted down to 0 yet there were still a few secs to reach the goal during the slowdown.
Can you eat soup with a fork? Technically yes. Is it a fun time? No.
Understand when you regain EN faster.
That being said, there is some obvious issues with timing. Namely from when the count down starts to when the player can actually move. That is the jank problem involved here.
Also as a general statement this "challenge" is suppose to be for new players (hence the general tutorial feel), so most people that are doing this and struggling are going to be new. Some people in this thread are being helpful and giving genuinely helpful tips (avoid going into melee against it, use the shield as a buffer, etc), but it is appalling to see the less than helpful comments and people saying stuff like "Oh just parry it.... It's so easy... don't play multiplayer until you can do this..." Stuff like that is how a community for a game gets a rep for being toxic.
TLDR; Google Mecha BREAK Test Pilot 8 Armor Break to watch some videos of this done. Beta is Beta and most of the challenges are janky. Ignore trolls that are making fun of you for not beating it first try.
