BS Tutorial Missions
Tutorial Challenge "Avoid Triggering Armor Purge" has to be the most unbalanced thing I have ever had to attempt. Not only does the AI track and assault you so aggressively; you literally have no window whatsoever to fight back. Whats the deal with this?

Let me guess you got filtered by helicopter in AC6?

The tutorial missions(not challenges) before it already told you that you can boost out of stun. If you thought this was a challenge, you should try the actual challenge missions for each ms.

EDIT: thanks for the free points, no refund!

You can kite him so he doesn't reach you. Just make sure to never run into the walls of the arena and make sure to dodge his rockets.
Use your missiles from time to time to stagger him a bit and if he does get close, try to parry him and instantly disengage.
Lol come on even DSP got past the helicopter in AC6 at some point.

Ignore the twits above. None of them have actually bothered to go through with it and just came here to troll during maintenance.

The mission does indeed need some tweaks. It hasn't changed since the last test yet the adjustments made since then need to be reflected in the tutorials. It is a work in progress. Just need to give them time to realize they forgot to change some things and get it updated.

How much are you willing to bet on that?

I literally told you how to play here and you just ran away:

For those who still trying to complete this challenge and don't want to hear smarmy "git gud" guys.

I think the problem is the timing of parry. You need to put up shield way before the attack anywhere near you, which is counter intuitive to most games where you have to time parry the moment you get hit. The parry window is very forgiving, so put shield up like a whole second before you think you should parry.

Rest of it is just managing distance and not engaging in combat. Don't get too far, or you'll take too many shells and it will eventually drain your fluid armor and energy. Small spinny blades also stagger, so you might have to stagger recovery way before Welkin hit you.

Unfortunaly there is no trick to it. It's a knowledge check. Get used to the timing window, don't drain your shield, otherwise you won't be able to parry and just take it slowly and don't button mash.

How do you avoid getting trapped in the box with the ability disable cloud in it? He's definitely faster forward than you are backward, and you can't parry or dodge while in a nanite cloud.

I answered my own question. The trick is to not strafe at all - if you run directly away from him, he engages fewer times.
As near as I can tell, there's basically no room for error once he starts his combo. If you don't parry the first hit you're simply not parrying anything else in the combo, and if you drop the shield to even try he's just going to hammer you.

mixing this mission in with the tutorial 'here's some free cosmetics' goals was just downright sadistic

I just dash into him and chain parry him, managed to kill him with 22 second left on the clock, but I agree parry timing in this game is a bit weird.

post a video showing how it's done

The "Neutralize All Strikers (out of 18)" mission is also extremely painful. Most of your three-striker team's damage output is the AI-controlled Tricera, and it frequently just stops firing to self-repair whilst doing nothing else. If it were firing continuously, the mission would be possible; as is, it's a complete dice roll on something the AI is doing rather than anything you do.
