Bad examples, some games do well DESPITE DEI, not because of it. The more of their DEI ideology trash they insert into a game, the more it will have to compensate if not fail. So yeah DEI stuff is generally trash and the more of it there is the worse it is, the less of it there is the more palatable it is due to whatever is used to overcome the slop that it is.

No one cares about awards except journalists.

It's no coincidence that so many "award winning games" have the lowest sales and lowest player counts, compared to games that players actually enjoy. Game awards are nothing but participation trophies, since players have no meaningful input on which games get awarded.

Time Magazine gave Dragon Age Veilguard a GOTY award, meanwhile it has only 8k players, Bioware refuses to release the sales numbers because it sold so poorly.

The fact of the matter, is that there's not a single successful "woke" game that didn't ride off of popular brand name association in your list. They bait with a non-woke franchise, then switch by injecting woke trash into the sequels, that players don't find until they're hours past the refund window.

BG3 still isn't a woke game btw, all the "grifters" you hate so much were all excited to play the game, promoted it to people, and everyone had fun with it.

Also I don't know what you're talking about "anti-woke games" or why Grummz is relevant to any of this, he helps most people make better purchases maybe, but people just want good games, preferably with female characters that look female or without the same predictable backwards ideology and formula being blatantly inserted into games. It's not dying on a hill, it's looking at objective reality. Almost every game is woke. What is a non-woke game? You have nothing to play if you're against woke games. You only have garbage.
