Coming from Armored Core, the menu UI in Mecha Break feels pretty bad. It's unintuitive and sluggish. The animations take way too long. In terms of intrusive gacha-isms, I haven't really noticed any. All the annoying level up and progress popups are more like CoD or Battlefield.
I want to get from match to match quickly. Feels like I'm spending way too much time in menus.

Speaking of (menu) animations, they're not as cool as the devs think they are. It's like they're trying to be cool, without understanding what makes mechas cool. For me, it feels like the difference between Pacific Rim and ... Pacific Rim 2.

The UI during a match is fine.

With all the action, its not easy to keep track how much health do you have. And you will forget about the main objective sometimes.

I know. But this would not help me.

I don't know what the crying is about. It's fine.

When it comes to health and energy usage I think the UI works fine.

However with how they show your commands next to all of that as well as people saying its hard to read I think it would be a good idea to take more of a Risk of Rain 2 approach tbh

The alarm sound helps pretty much, when the shield is gone, though.

The UI layout isn't bad, but the colors for health armor and energy don't stand out enough. Though wish they would but the energy on the bottom of the circle and health and armor on the top for easier reading.

Having watched PR1 and skipping through PR2, the match loading sequence is pretty immersive and not cheesy in any way, not sure what you're talking about here.

It's pretty clunky. Trying to figure out what mechs do in the menus is slow and unintuitive as you have to check each weapon out 1 by one or go to the training range.

The stun mechanic isn't represented well by the UI at all compared to the AC6 UI. Weapon status is also not updated in all states, I've had times abilities couldn't activate while not greyed out and all I hear is the mech not activating skills

The launch sequence is alright, but the flying down into the map is really stupid for maps where you only fly down a straight tube for 10 seconds and can't scout the field.

The quest/task completion screens are so obnoxious, my first match I was stuck there for ages as each task tallied up its points on the battle pass one by one. Can't skip, can't speed it up, just watch the stupid bar tick up.

Sorta related but actions aren't bound to an action 1, action 2, etc key. You gotta keybind each skill for each mech if you want to use mouse buttons for example....it's a nice feature, but not very convenient on setup.
