I want to get from match to match quickly. Feels like I'm spending way too much time in menus.
Speaking of (menu) animations, they're not as cool as the devs think they are. It's like they're trying to be cool, without understanding what makes mechas cool. For me, it feels like the difference between Pacific Rim and ... Pacific Rim 2.
The UI during a match is fine.
However with how they show your commands next to all of that as well as people saying its hard to read I think it would be a good idea to take more of a Risk of Rain 2 approach tbh
The stun mechanic isn't represented well by the UI at all compared to the AC6 UI. Weapon status is also not updated in all states, I've had times abilities couldn't activate while not greyed out and all I hear is the mech not activating skills
The launch sequence is alright, but the flying down into the map is really stupid for maps where you only fly down a straight tube for 10 seconds and can't scout the field.
The quest/task completion screens are so obnoxious, my first match I was stuck there for ages as each task tallied up its points on the battle pass one by one. Can't skip, can't speed it up, just watch the stupid bar tick up.
Sorta related but actions aren't bound to an action 1, action 2, etc key. You gotta keybind each skill for each mech if you want to use mouse buttons for example....it's a nice feature, but not very convenient on setup.
