Got to the tutorial.
Tried to set up my sensitivity.
Noticed the negative mouse acceleration.
Alt+f4 uninstall.
And every shooter game out there (inmcluding this one) uses the raw input API which negates windows' built in mouse accel...
It only FEELS like negative acceleration, because the faster you move your mouse, the shorter duration you move it for. So if you move it faster than the current turn rate allows, you will turn less than you expect.
This is a gameplay feature, NOT a problem. You need to get used to it, instead of complaining, because its not going to change. Simply remember that you need to move your mouse smoothly and slowly, instead of spazzing out all the time, and you'll be fine. Its not like this is a crazy fast twitch shooter with ultra precise aiming, anyway.
Or play on controller, since sensitivity changes are easier to get used to with an analog stick.
Then tell me how I'm supposed to hit a "turn rate cap" while aiming down sights with Narukami's sniper for example?? MY MECH IS NOT EVEN TURNING AT ALL while shooting at far away targets lmfao
And how is there a "cap" in the first place if there's no strict cutoff point in turn speed?
This game has the defintion of negative mouse acceleration built in. Period. A turn rate cap that actually works can be found in games like Armored Core 6, etc.
