Mecha BREAK

Mecha BREAK

"Extra" Software?
By title, I mean things like "Anti-Cheats", DRMs, etc. if applicable.
Software that ultimately hurts the customer more than it has any right to, often unnecessary stuff that's added more for corporate scum-tactics than actual security.

At the risk of sounding racist (though, I don't intend of coming off as such), it IS made in Asian-based companies and those tends to have much more... "destructive" practices for their games.
This kinda notion stems mostly from Nexon, Tencent, etc. of whom rightfully deserve the title of "manipulative" and "scummy".

I haven't heard from "Seasun" besides Snowbreak-- which is a game I immediately swore off thanks to it's implementation of Gacha. (A practice I DESPISE.)
So naturally, I'm a bit skeptical. Any time Gacha is involved in any capacity is reason alone for concern.

So I was wondering if anybody who currently has the game have noticed anything odd about it.
I'm willing to give it a shot, but only if the game actually... y'know, TRIES to be a game instead of the usual slop we get nowadays ala Gacha shovelware.

... oh, and please behave. This is a genuine question and I'm not looking for drama. I just wanna enjoy a multiplayer game that doesn't leave me headaches for once, that's all.

Can you recommend it? I sent her a friend request but somehow it didn't work. That's why I'm writing it here, an answer would be really great. I don't speak English so it's translated with Google, I hope you can read it well.
I've played for about 2 hours using a controller. Works way better than most shooters because of the way targeting works - as long as an enemy is near the center of your screen for about 1 second, you'll lock on, and most ranged attacks will almost always hit unless your target moves out of the ~20% center of your screen, hides behind cover, uses a shield, or you get tackled. This is the same behavior whether you're using a mouse & keyboard or a controller. So the typical "shooters are best with a mouse" applies less to this game than to other games.

According to Steam, yeah. However, most of that time was used in details on the mechas.
I'm quite specific about I paint them!

I play with a keyboard and mouse. I can't say much with controllers as a result.

I haven't run into any cheaters myself, though the official bots are extremely ferocious.
So far everyone I've discussed this game with hasn't seen any dangerous software, but it's good to be careful.

Very good gameplay from my experience!
The melee system is a bit prone to locking targets down with not much for counterplay, but this is a balancing fix that can be addressed after the test period.

It's quite fine, Google did it's job well! Hope it translate back just as well!

That's rich, coming from a Level 0 Steam account who's profile is private, and also keeps appearing in discussion threads antagonizing people concerned about data security.

That sound even more rich coming from you when steam has those privilege. And you using Steam questioning about whataboutism. You are liability neither trustable.

Lol lol blocked.
Wow, so that was the best comeback you could come up with. Couldn't help but notice you didn't actually give any reasons why what I said was false.

Also you might wanna try a different translation service, because what you wrote barely qualifies as English. Enjoy your clown awards.

Asian companies have more destructive practices for their games? Have you heard of Activision, Blizzard, EA, etc?

AHAH! Ah, you're not wrong-- I'll give you that.
But it's more a lot of the more notorious ones that end up leading the biggest flags of Gacha and such tend to be a select few outside of Asian areas... and the ones in there tend to either be too small-fry to name or big titans like Nexon which were ACTIVELY messing their lootbox drop rates on a per-player basis for several years on end.

Blizzard, EA, Activision and the sort are also bad. Yes.
They're also companies I avoid as well.
