im on a mouse and keyboard, not on a pilot seat, making it play like ♥♥♥♥ isn't going to emulate ♥♥♥♥, just be normal
Like "turn rate" of a character in Dota.
I'm going to use a hyperbole for you to understand. Its like having a racing game where the car turns as fast as you move the mouse. It makes no sense. You are using a machine, a vehicle. Tank Games, Racing Games, Space & Flight Sims, most games that use a vehicle have some sort of movement restrictions to make them more immersive, it's part of the appeal.
What is the point of having mecha if it's just going to control like any other shooter where you play as a human.
Also it's part of balance in these types of games, Heavy Mecha's have slower movement with slow rotation, while Light ones are faster and more nimble.
But my rotation is FASTER when I move the mouse more slowly?? It has nothing to do with a maximum turn speed, because I hit my absolute fastest turn speed while moving my mouse the most slowly.
It's like if I was playing a racing game and to make a minor adjustment I need to spin the wheel 20x, but if I'm trying to make a 90° turn I only move the wheel an inch. It's counter intuitive and feels like garbage
