Monster Mop Up FAQ

What is Monster Mop Up?

Rescue the scared little Ragamuffins from the human world - and clean up all evidence of their existence. Mop stains, burn poop, and get rewarded with high tech gear and upgrades. Save enough, and you can even expand your home, decorate it, and live happily ever after with your fluffy little friends!

Who is making this game?

The game is being developed by Terahard Studios [terahard.org], and published by Yogscast Games [yogscast.games].

When will the game be released?

The release date has not yet been announced, but will be in 2025. In the meantime, you can sign up to the playtest for the opportunity to play early!

What platforms will Monster Mop Up be available on?

Monster Mop Up will be available on Steam for PC. We're not currently working on other platforms, but this is something we may consider after launch.

What engine is the game built in?

Unity - we wanted something lightweight that would work on older PC setups without compromising the artistic style we wanted to achieve.

What were your inspirations?

We loved Viscera Cleanup, and are huge fans of cozy games. Cleaning a place up might be rewarding, but having a cute rascal living there is doubly so!

Will this game have Steam achievements?

Yes, the game has achievements to collect.

Can I make content for YouTube / Twitch and monetise it?

Yes! As game devs, we understand that video recording and editing takes time and you should be rewarded, not punished! Please do share your videos with us - we love watching gameplay of our games!

What languages is the game available in?

The game is (or will be) available in English, French, Spanish, German, Italian, Greek, Portuguese, Polish, Russian, Chinese, Japanese, and Korean.

Can I help you with localisation?

We already have a localisation partner, and are not looking for help with official (paid) translations at this time. We don't currently have the means to moderate community / volunteer translations for adding to the game, but could look into this depending on demand. That said, if you spot any errors in the existing translations, feel free to make suggestions for improvements in these forums or our Discord [discord.gg]!
