Savefiles will keep your:
- weapon levels - that level up by being used, and even faster by chaining enemies
- lives - that increase every 10minutes or so
- score - which eventually caps at max after many runs
You can use your save files to have a much easier time and earn achievements, but you won't be able to upload your score or save the run by continuing (only by using New Game).
Basically, it's worth having 1 maxed save for casual play (98 lives, and weapons at lv33), but if you want to go for scores and save replays, you'll have to start a new game.
