Enjoy :)
I only need the amulet to complete the quest.
Please tell me what I have to do!
The link doesn't work, could anyone give me any clue where I can find the amulet?
I have exacly the same problem as Fafel. My game has been updated.
following information from the above thread as saved by the wayback machine (https://web.archive.org/web/20170523150015/http://forum.spellforce.com/showthread.php?t=70498)
I managed to get it to work
open game directory and go to:
\addon3\map\Campaign\P710_West_Westguard\script\
open this file in notepad
_P710_West_Westguard.lua
after line 101 ("PlayerBuildingUpgradeAdd {UpgradeId = 34},") add the following:
with the proper indentation (3xTab) and with the comma
Load the save from before completing Icewastes
when you first appear in Planes of Argan you will get the necessary items(the amulet and a third sword)
I'm sure there are ways to get the items after completing Icewastes, i just didn't bother to try
You guys do know we offer a patch for that, right? The "SF2 DOTP Community Patch 1.4".
Link: https://www.moddb.com/games/spellforce-2-demons-of-the-past/downloads/sf2-dotp-community-patch-14
Changelog:
- fixed Shadowsong Quest
- fixed undead Guard Quest
- fixed hero selection
- fixed Fireforge Crash
- fixed Plains of Argan tower Fix
- sets Free Trader Quest Goal to 12 (Optional)
- some little more
Community patch, unfortunately, didn't, even when installed before the dialogue that starts the quest.
