Does the story continue after the anime?

I saw both seasons of the Megaton Musashi anime first before getting this game. How far does the story go in the game? Does continue from where season 2 ended in the show? I want to know what I should expect here.

The game contains the entire anime's story, plus some new story after that (haven't played it yet, but I hear it's pretty short, don't expect a full game's length).

When you start a new game, you'll begin at chapter 1, which is equivalent to the anime's episode 1-2. Then the story follows the anime pretty much identically.

Late, but I just saw something about that while trying to figure out whether Wired was the third game or an enhanced re-release, so I may as well share it here: https://www.megaton-musashi.jp/wired/topics/2402/

Basically season 1 (episodes 1-13) covers the same thing as the original Megaton Musashi (chapters 1-11), season 2 (episodes 14-28) covers extra content from Megaton Musashi X (chapters 12-23), and Megaton Musashi W has brand new content with chapters 24 and up.

Chapter 24 and 25 are all thats new. Unless I'm mistaken and theres some other thing i need to do to move forward after Credits roll

Wait, they only added two more chapters?! It's disappointing if that's the case. Unless they're planning on adding more though future updates, but I won't hold my breath.

Yup just two chapters. There are several stages in these 2 chapters but the pacing is as rushed as the second season of musashi. The last chapter was cool as hell though since you get yamato being ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ per usual.

you mean the anime they stealthy put into the very last episode as cutscene, welp i dont mind my games comes with free anime *shrug*
