I can still play it.
In fact, I can't stop playing it.
Less popular doesn't mean dead.
This isn't a live service game. It doesn't depend on an active player base to make money. The game will remain completely 100% playable even if you were the last one playing it.
Do you know why the concurrent player count is going down?
It's because people beat the game. They reached the end and move on. I hate how often I have to explain this these days.
Oh no after breaker 4 and synduality we probably arent seeing any more mech games for a few years. Maybe a few indie games here and there but thats how its been for the past two decades.
A year or two of focus followed by a few years if not a decade of barely anything.
battle alliance has been negative for most of its release an i refuse to believe even half the people playing this know what combattler is.
It has never being negative, at worst mixed (putting aside the last DLC), and I enjoyed it, despite having watched as a kid mazinger, super robot 28, grendizer and so on, so this insult would be aimed at me as well (if I did care).
Literally looking up steamdb to see if anybody else is playing a single player game, instead of looking at the game itself to see if they would enjoy playing it; like a normal person would.
