I'm going to have to get on my key-binding "A game" and play the PC version, as I enjoyed the challenge of the PSX version. Shouldn't be too hard as I've pretty much been a PC gamer since the late PSX / early PS2 days. Controllers for most of my games on Steam feel alien, unless it's a GTA game. I can drive a bit more gracefully with a 360 pad vs. keys / mouse.
I would remake this game no problem.
This game is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ amazing.
I remember being really exited to play this game, but my machine kept lagging because it could just barely run it and I took days to get to the first elevator down.
I remember Deathtrap dungeon was realy hard..especialy the last levels.
And i was a bit frustrated about the short ending.
I think the main experience of the game was the gameplay today most of the modern games are more focused on ingame videos.
as i finished DS1 and 2 multible times i can tell that i think
the biggest problem with deathtrap dungeon was its controls and its save system as it always remembered the latest energy level you had that made the game even harder.
Dark souls games are for me like a love hate thing i love the challenge and hate some bosses the same time... As Ds2 was in my eyes the easiest of the series and DS3 also pretty easy only most of the dlc bosses and the last 2 bosses of the main game were ugly hard... but everyone has different experiences.
yeah I love all the Souls games, kinda like DS2 the most. I've always wondered if my enjoyment from Souls is linked to liking this wonky ass game as a kid lol.
