What cards work with what?

Like the title says, how do you know what works with what? I have some green "action" cards that don't combo with anything.

Is there a way to see what cards work when building a deck?

Also how does the merge card thing work in the workshop?

I bet it is super easy but my brain is smoooooooth.

Open card
Check Combo section with eye
It will show you - what combo you can learn
Mostly cards have combo. Only resident cards from story bosses don't have

About workshop - you select cards(char + item), pay and wait time. After this you can combo them at battle
