Local co-op?
Seems odd that a game about social play and friendships would be limited to online connections.

Hello SUPERIOR MAN OF WONGUS WORDS,

Thank you for your interest and feedback.
That is an excellent question and a very good point.

Local co-op in a future update is a possibility. However, it carries a number of unassuming technical and logistical challenges, as well as some sacrifices that need to be made:
  • Since there is secret information crucial for gameplay, there needs to be a gameplay interruption reminder for one of the players to stop watching the screen.
  • One of the players needs to actually turn around or close their eyes for a few seconds every question.
  • The dynamic camera has to be removed so both of your characters would always fit into the screen.

As a result, the game in Local mode will look different, play differently, and feel different than the "Online" one.

However, if there are enough requests for it, it will be done.

Fair design challenges to note; how plausible is smart phone integration? Almost everyone has a smart phone in their pocket, which means almost everyone is carrying their own screen. Maybe this is something you could utilise to pass secret information to players.
