Game Not Starting Error

The game doesnt start. I start the game and it pops up and its a black screen then it closes. How can I fix this?

starting multiple threads about it wont fix it... I can tell you that much lol

be patient, they will fix it.. I bought this game like a week ago and after todays patch I'm finally able to play.. be patient, they'll fix it

Oh and I've tried reownloading twice and verifying integrity and changing it to start in windowed mode.

Before I said black screen so people probably thought it meant the game would start and then when I try to play the game it is a black screen.

there have been 20+ posts about the blackscreen issue since I started following these forums... verifing integrity fixes this for everyone but you it seems so yeah, if re-installeing and or verifying your game cache doesn't work you're SOL and will have to wait for another update from the DEVs most likely

what operating system do you use?

When I get that I hit my windows key to minimize it and then when I reopen it works fine.
But I rarely get that anymore.

I can open the game, but when i spawn on the mountain, the screen is black, my hud is still there and you can see light, but it almost seems in negative colour.
