Looking forward to see what else you add to it (like someone already mentioned, objectives, tasks, or whatever).
Some form of progression, either through a simple story, or map, any kind of meta layer would help give us the feeling we're working towards something.
Aside from this, the sounds are wonderful, the effects give a really satisfying feel (kind of like haptics on mobile games), and the art style is super cute. Good luck with further development, wishlisted!
I do however have one weird complaint that I'm not sure anyone else has mentioned.
-I would absolutely kill for a "dark mode" version of the background. The game is so bright that it started giving me a headache after playing for like 30 minutes. If there isn't an option for that on full release I don't think I could play it to be honest it was kind of killing me, which is a shame because the aesthetic and style is phenomenal. Keep it up
Furthermore, having just tried the Stoneblade, the dodge spin feels redundant. The stone wall serves the same basic purpose, but it's actually viable. I'd recommend changing the ability of the Cursorblade. Just off the top of the dome piece: Give the Cursorblade an "active-time reload" ability where you have a chance to heal one heart upon clicking when an audio/visual cue happens. Maybe wind up an enclosing circle around the cursor with an audible countdown?
Another idea is to have upgrade paths for your abilities. Increasing the i-frames period, allowing the stone wall to occasionally shoot projectiles in random directions, etc.
Anyway, back to playing ^^
EDIT: Echoing the need for an Endless Mode as well!
Excited to see where this game is going, and best of luck
Great work, thanks for the game, best of luck
I hope that it disperses or fade away a bit more simple/gentler because it's very painful to look at when its flashing too much. It may cause Epilepsy for some. And others who're sensitive to light. Or also in my case, I experience fps nausea very easily as my visual senses makes everything to immersive even in games. Thank you!
