Hi!
Thank you everyone for playing Cursorblade demo! I hope you enjoy playing it. Be sure to let me know your thoughts, suggestions or any questions you may have. I would appreciate your feedback so that I can make this game the best I can :)

I like the game, but I feel like it doesn't have enough synergy (abilities interacting with other abilities) each ability feels pretty separate from the others, which is not necessarily a bad thing, but there aren't enough abilities to support it
I adore this little game, and see SO MUCH potential in it.

Looking forward to see what else you add to it (like someone already mentioned, objectives, tasks, or whatever).
Some form of progression, either through a simple story, or map, any kind of meta layer would help give us the feeling we're working towards something.

Aside from this, the sounds are wonderful, the effects give a really satisfying feel (kind of like haptics on mobile games), and the art style is super cute. Good luck with further development, wishlisted!
Absolutely love the concept and execution of this game. I hope you expand on this further and the full release has more content because this was great.

I do however have one weird complaint that I'm not sure anyone else has mentioned.
-I would absolutely kill for a "dark mode" version of the background. The game is so bright that it started giving me a headache after playing for like 30 minutes. If there isn't an option for that on full release I don't think I could play it to be honest it was kind of killing me, which is a shame because the aesthetic and style is phenomenal. Keep it up
Its a fun game but i think it needs more content and some qol changes
I LOVE the idea behind this game! The demo was great. The only thing I'd recommend is seriously buffing the dodge ability for the default cursor. The window of opportunity feels too harsh, to the point where I don't even feel it's worth using. Perhaps extend the i-frames by 0.5 seconds. Or, failing that, change the ability entirely?

Furthermore, having just tried the Stoneblade, the dodge spin feels redundant. The stone wall serves the same basic purpose, but it's actually viable. I'd recommend changing the ability of the Cursorblade. Just off the top of the dome piece: Give the Cursorblade an "active-time reload" ability where you have a chance to heal one heart upon clicking when an audio/visual cue happens. Maybe wind up an enclosing circle around the cursor with an audible countdown?

Another idea is to have upgrade paths for your abilities. Increasing the i-frames period, allowing the stone wall to occasionally shoot projectiles in random directions, etc.

Anyway, back to playing ^^

EDIT: Echoing the need for an Endless Mode as well!

The volume setting should either have arrows to go up and down, or be a slider. You shouldn't have to turn the volume to 100% to turn it down.
Being able to resize the game would be nice! I don't like playing games in full screen most of the time, and the window for it in windowed mode is still large/cuts off a bit. Either preset ratios or allowing to freely resize would be nice.
More levels? In the first 10 mins o playing this i got really sad that the demo ended at level 20.
I enjoyed it, but it severely need some polishing. Enemy's visual cue could be improved. In terms of game flow, it feels like a mini game with very little replayability after playing for one hour. If I may suggest, how about adding exploration mechanic, where players choose which room they're going to enter. It would give you rooms (not intended) to fit in more interesting mechanic.

Excited to see where this game is going, and best of luck
Love something that needs either brain or skill, very relaxing, but it gets hard to see everything in later levels, all my weapons n enemy effects overlapping each other, it gets to the point where i just can't tell who hit me or why i'm losing health. but that's not a big deal, it's a relaxing game, i'm not frustrated at all when i die. Thanks for Chinese, very much appreciated but the translation is kinda rough at the moment, it doesn't effect understanding but if u want to refine it, we are happy to help:)
Great work, thanks for the game, best of luck
Cool game, the idea is good, but there is one inconvenience, after losing there is no restart button, please add it, and in general it will be good
Hello! Here to feedback where there's a flashing 'x combo - +points' whenever i'm selecting a power-up / abilities after each wave

I hope that it disperses or fade away a bit more simple/gentler because it's very painful to look at when its flashing too much. It may cause Epilepsy for some. And others who're sensitive to light. Or also in my case, I experience fps nausea very easily as my visual senses makes everything to immersive even in games. Thank you!

I genuinely do not mean to be rude, but idk if anyone with Epilepsy should ever be playing a bullet hell game... I don't really know anything specific about epilepsy, but you know, just a thought.

Not sure if someone suggested already but some kind of dark mode would be really cool at least a darker background. Its a perfect game to play for a few minutes before going to bed
