1) they never stated that.
2) the game is better than dnd indeed (again a user experience).
3) the devs where not competent enough to run it.

Yea I really loved this game and tried DnD, but DnD just plays like ♥♥♥♥, its so slow and clunky, the gameplay is not engaging at all, plus the UI is a huge mess.
Such a shame the devs didnt follow through with this as it started off so great.

It had everything to be better and it was
DnD plays like a 2016 mobile 3D game and combat as rigid as one
They could of left DB alone or undone the dumb changes n still been better off

yeah combat wise dark and darker is EXTREMELY clunky (not to say ♥♥♥♥♥♥) and that was one part dungeonborne did good - too bad the rest of it was complete dumpster fire
