Best heirlooms to start crafting?
I just started, and after a few extractions i have a good amount of materials but no idea of what should i start with, like should i go for rings and necklace first or armors and weapons?
I would love to hear some basic explanation from a veteran on how heirloom exactly work and what should i prioritize

You can only wear 1 weapon, 1 armor, and 1 accessory heirloom. So its just a matter of what you find the least of each of those catagories.

I find that a good 2hander(best DPS stat stick) for your class, Amulet and boots are the way to go. Having those gives you the biggest bump after a loss without bumping up out of the starting gear bracket.

How do heirlooms work? Do they come back? I only ask because I slaughtered a 2 man and got an heirloom from both of them. Just wondering if I craft some myself and die will they be lost?

You craft them. If you lose them you just make another

depends on class but what you want to do is 1 ring/ammy to blue tier and 1 legs to blue tier. That will hit you exactly to minimum gear score. Then just farm blues in Classic and deconstruct to make your better stuff before upgrading them to epic/purple.

If you are DPS I suggest weapon, ring and boots for the + weapon damage mods.
