Armor has defense level, each defense level decreases incoming damage by like 2%. So if a item has defense level 5 all damage is reduced by 10% (2% x 5).

On weapons they have attack level. Each level of attack negates a level of defense.

Oh thanks!! That solved my question!
I have another one... for a fighter tank with a lot stammina, is it better the green enchant that says +7,5% or so max life for 75 green shards? the +1 defense level purple 150 shards enchant? or what other? I cant find a proper guide about it...

We did the math on Sacriel's stream today.

Its (Base Health + Fixed Increase from all sources) x (Stamina % increase + Gear % increase + enchant bonus %)

So the Plus 30 health from the enchantment and the +15 heath from the Stamina breakpoint all get buffed from the Stam and Gear % increases!

Basically the 30 hp is equal to the 7.5% at low stam but every point of stam makes the base 30hp better.

So interesting, but im so bad at maths. So, if I understand well, the 7,5% stam is better than flat 30hp? And +1 defense level is the worst option?

Physical Resistance > Max Life > 1 Additional Defense > 30 Life

I am not entirely sure the Attack/Defense Level is entirely accurate with what you are saying, because you can get an Heirloom Weapon, and you can put an upgrade on the weapon that say it will Ignore 1 Enemy Defense Level? But on that same upgrade selection, you can just choose to give your weapon +1 Attack Level instead...

So if 1 attack level negated 1 Defense Level, why does it have the option to get this other Stat that is +1 Ignore Enemy Defense Level? Because to me that sounds like the same thing at getting 1 more attack Level.

im also curious of this, im trying to figure out if +1 Attack Levels only works for Weapons like Daggers/Fire Staff etc but NOT for Skills like Cryo/Pyro/fighter spin and what not, VS i think +1 Target Defense Level Ignore might actually increase damage OVERALL with Skills AND Weapons but im not too sure someone would have to confirm this theory as that would be a huge change for if classes that mainly use Skills.
