Why Always PVP Only
This dungeon crawlers are more likely to have a PVE option, there is a lot of people wanting to play and chill with friends, by the way i found a friendly esqueleton and we botch died triying to extract lmao, but yeah this kind of games would be awesome with pve and no magic corruption, it will bring A LOT OF PEOPLE

Edit: Yep this kind of people with the "tHiS oRiGiNaL gAmE iS mEaNt To Be PvP" are the one who killed a lot of other promising games. <3

Stupid forced PvP crap..ugh..
PvP is inherently toxic, as it brings that side out of people. Trying to reasons with PVP players is pointless.
Just because you want something doesnt mean the game is meant to be like it.
If you like flying cars than play a game with it and dont ask in the Chivalry forums for it

I guess it's just a mindset issue. Really. I'm not even that good and I extract successfully like 95% of the time both in Dungeonborne and Dark&Darker, and in like 80% of these matches I don't even encounter a single enemy player (probably would be about 40% if I wasn't cautious enough, because in a lot of games I can hear enemy players through walls or doors, so I either turn around, run away or hide from them, unless I'm sure I want and can beat them).

Have in mind that you can meet the Mithril Order (100% PvP focused players) in casual games, so always try to avoid them, as there's no point in fighting them, they are there to simply hunt you down (unless I'm wrong?).

So, as you can see, you can play almost a PvE-only mode, thinking of the other players like they are just some assassin mobs that you have to avoid in order to survive. It's mainly the mindset.

I like to think of these games like they are just isekai world with Adventurer's Guild, where you enter the dungeons to complete guild missions, earn gold and improve your skills (character progression), meanwhile other players are just some other toxic adventurers that like to rob others (just like in some isekais). Sometimes if you encounter someone you can see that they aren't willing to fight either, think of them as they are the good adventurers who are there to do their missions and rise in power alone.

In what way is advertising to streamers with full twitch drops, predatory MTX, and ♥♥♥♥ talking a similar game while having nothing to back yourself up in anyway Indie behavior?

Not even gonna start how there's virtually no info on the devs yet and they use tencent anti-cheat.
i think you don't know what "indie" means... all that you described is pretty much what an indie dev can do and decide. otherwise it would be a publisher doing it. these devs self-publish, so yeah, couldn't get anymore indie than that.
i doubt they paid big streamers a ton of money, because i've seen enough "typical" streamers not playing it that long. drops are also basically active on every channel i think. they were on my channel and they give me personally literally nothing. they only had that special flask skin to have a way to get some money to streamers. again, i had that same active on my channel. so i guess any affiliate had it.
the only way that big streamers will make money is by doing the event and having the most viewers and at least 7 days streamed with 2 hrs minimum afaik. i streamed over 3 and it didn't recognise it yet. so there's that. a publisher might not have done that event and just paid each 5k or whatever to play it for a set amount of time. so if the big streamers are not playing over the next week or more, they don't care for the money they could get.

kinda the obvious decision to use that anti-cheat. this game uses Unreal Engine 5... i think that explains it enough. ;)

why always asking pve only on pvp base game ... seriously kids this day
always same:
pve - cry, add pvp
pvp - cry, add pve
You should play destiny 2. It's a looter shooter with PvE only unless you play PvP traditional modes. It might be what you are looking for. This game was designed as PvEvP so you have to understand it's totally not in the question to ruin the flow of the game for a novelty mode.
You can also go play FATE too homie, its basically this but only PVE in its most basic form.
oh noes they got banned what a shaaaaame

FATE being "basically this"? Where do you have your eyes homie? These games aren't anyhow similar, not even in the most basic form. It's like comparing Terraria and The Forest only because they are survival games, while Terraria is a freaking 2D game and your character is made of 5 pixels.
PVE option must be on because tryhards and disbalanced classes ruin gameplay.

Because it appeared in my suggestions, it looked interesting and nowere told me it was a mandatory pvp game, it tell "single player dungeon crawler".
If i wanna play mandatory pvp i would search for, if it tell "single player" i expect it to be at worst co-op, not pvp.
