400 moonstones where?

You guys go with the popular option of putting the game as free to play but then doesn't sell 400 moonstone as package for the auction privilege, only 144 or 770 moonstones...have you guys no shame?

It's even funnier because the cheapest package can only buy 1 potion skin and then you have 44 leftover moonstone which can buy nothing and potentially nothing in the future...if you're going to put a price like that to force players to purchase multiple smaller packages, at least put it as 150 so that they have a leftover amount that they can top up again and purchase something from the store.

The level of quality in this game is insane. And its free. Complain less. I bought 10 dollars worth of moonstones and then the 10 dollar supporter pack on top of that just to give them more money.

This is pretty typical in microtransaction games, hoping to force you to pay more to get something you want and then encourage you to spend more due to the fact you have some currency left over. It sucks but it is what it is.

To all the guys in this tread.

The idea isn't complaining about the game not being free, but the ideology of the company.

They made a big post about how they want to go F2P and bring the best experience to the players...and then they use this scummy tactic that you see in poorly designed gacha games to make people spend a lot.

I really don't mind paying to support the game as it is indeed a very promising game, I do mind supporting scummy tactics such as selling premium currency this way.

EDIT: Also, making 3 of the same purchases back to back may trigger a false alarm with your bank and they can freeze your CC.

yeah insanely bad. thats why they decided to change from B2P to F2P last minute

that how basically all those real-money packs work in basically all games that use them. you will either have just not enough or always something left that isn't enough to use for even the cheapest item. been like that for years and won't change anytime soon i guess. as long as those are purchased, they will be sold.

but yeah, complaining and spreading awareness is always good. but it's still the only way to support the devs with money if you want to. then you just have to accept that you will lose some of that. gifting that to a friend would be a good idea.

literally every game with this kind of monetisation. i don't know one where you have correct amounts with nothing left if used "correctly". so yeah... the devs just follow that and i doubt they change it. it is one way to make more money. don't like it, don't buy it. there is not much else you can do about it.

but if you want to support the devs, making sure what exactly you want so you don't have too much left over is all you can do. no other way to support them.

Again... the entire game is free. The auction pass isnt even needed to play the game. And if buying 10 dollars worth of moonstones to get the pass and some other cosmetics you want is way too much for you? Ask for your mothers credit card. People will complain about anything.

Well... dark and darker has currency that you buy exact amounts of and never have leftovers of. I simply will not be buying into this game though, as I don't really see a reason to give them money yet.

oh, that's interesting. didn't know that. but i lost interest in that game with their way of forced monetisation. a lot is locked behind a paywall ($30). but it's good that you at least can use all of the irl currency. thanks for the info.

Would be nice to have a 400crystal option, even it's just for convenience.

Micro-transactions and gacha are very different things. Gacha is about collecting every thing by chance, with the possibility of getting the same one you already have. This game has like 7 skins? All of them are chosen and purchased. No luck. No chance. Pick a skin and enjoy. Or don't, all up to you.

You realize this game JUST released and it isn't even the final v1? You don't think they're gonna add tons of new options in the future? Some cheaper, some more expensive? You sound like a kid being mad a game is buggy on release.

Your more than free to go take on the end bosses and everything though so dont know how much your really missing out here.

i normally play one character, but in a game like this, i would grind with an easy class first to get some gear for my preferred class. so only one is already a no-go for me.

too many games anyway, so i might not even stick around for that long with this one. even less when none of my friends are around to play. but even then i will keep an eye out for the time it will be released.
