ERROR with Non-admin user, error 17 SteamAPI_init failed

I got an error: "Please launch the game through steam error code:(17 SteamAPI_init failed, please check your steam client status, 0)" when running steam on non-admin user, when I run steam on admin user it works fine. Also on non-admin user there's a prompt to input admin user credentials, but that's not working.

The whole point is not to run steam as an administrator, but as a regular user (for security).

That's not a solution for non-admin users

I fixed it just making my account and admin account in the PC, if you dont do that, is not gonna work until they fix it. Just log in your admin account on pc, grant admin account to your usual account, restart, and then you can play!

There is no "solution" for non admin users, since the game requires admin access. It's not a error, it is how the game works. I do sympathize if you for whatever reason don't have full access to the machine you want to play on, but it is not going to change. Acquire admin rights or play other games. That's your choices.

Didn't work. I tried:
- just run as admin ACE-Tray.exe
- uninstall by ACE-setup64
- change ACE-Tray.exe to run as admin

Maybe give us some more details
