To me it feel like asking world of warcraft to be single player
"Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon" is a game in Early Access that is available now, that has combat very similar to Dungeonborne, but it's all PvE. Give it a shot. If you like the PvE side of Dungeonborne, you might really enjoy it.
It's crazy how people can't accept that other's might have opinions, thoughts, and tastes of their own.
The OP did not ask for the game to be singleplayer. He asked IF there was a way to play it without pvp.
There's no harm in him simply asking a question.
There's no pressure playing as the Mithril Order because it's not really your character, so you don't have to worry about losing gear on death and can get your feet wet. If you DO extract when doing a Mithril order run, then all of the loot you got out with either automatically gets broken down into heirloom materials or sold for their gold value if they were treasure items.
It's a great way to get more used to the game without the pressure of losing all of your hard fought gear.
EDIT: You are still put into the same lobbies as other players, both normal and other Mithril Order members, so there will still be pvp - just with far less stakes.
I was excited until I saw it was pvpve, I stay away from extraction types as much as I can. You convinced me to still give it a try though, thanks for that bud
World of Warcraft has PvE servers where you can quest without getting killed by other players. if you choose you PvP you can queue up for that. I do not see how that is a good comparison.
On a side note, Have a character binded to PvE or PvP. Seperate matchmaking. That's my thoughts but I did not design that game and I simply choose not the play it due to the same reasons being one shot at level 1/2 by other players is not fun.
