Do I expect them to include a PvE mode in this clearly PvP focused game? - No.
Why? - Cause it clearly is a PvP focused game.
You disapprove of this? - No worries, there are plenty of PvE games out there which have way more engaging PvE fights than this or any of it's competitors, as this clearly is a PvP focused game with only a bit of PvE on the side.
If we have to suffer playing with a swarm of cheat engine users then im out before im even in.
Its an extraction dungeon crawler mate, 95% of it would be pve LOL, my point is why even bother when you are gonna come across people every game with infinite health, 1 hit kills, infinite bag space, unlimited stamina.
That's what someone who hasn't played this or DnD for more than a few rounds would say. You will quickly understand that PvE in this game, while being very "hard hitting" on the one hand, on the other hand is merely something to maneuver around and use to your advantage at certain times. People going around killing these more than dumb acting AIs for "fun" are the new folks. (Just as in the FPS Hunt:Showdown, it might look like fun PvE but it's just the inbetween of PvP)
Again: No need to feel bad about it, there are PvE only titles with way better PvE (as this clearly is a PvP title).
Yeah i played plenty of hunt showdown until you get to higher tier and then it just the same is swarmed with cheaters, sad really that some people are just so bad at games they have to cheat, sure you know what i mean though !!!.
While I do understand your frustration with cheaters in PvP games, I guess I kinda made my peace with it. In Hunt for example my mates and I are in 5 Star rating (out of 6 after the recent change to MMR) and I guess you can imagine the skilled people we have to put up with. People are so good (know every angle, wallbang constantly and so on) that probably a lot of cheaters would perform worse and I can honestly say that the amount of obvious cheaters I met in Hunt is barely worth mentioning.
Also: it hasn't even been 24 hours since the last time I have been called a cheater (in Rust in this case) because people don't grasp how much actual learning will improve ones skills. And of course because of the evidence that shows how many cheaters are actually around (looking at you tarkov) in some games.
Anyways, if you want to enjoy PvE only, at least for now this isn't it. I hope you find what you're looking for.
One can only hope so!
Steam are even testing it right now with the family share beta, one account gets caught cheating on a game every single account in that family gets banned for life from the game, that will stop alot of shenanigans right there, and big companys that make the bigger shooters have been looking at it for years to club together and once a person gets banned from one fps they ban the person for life from all, stuff like facial recognition to be able to play a pvp game is already being looked at to put in place, some great stuff to look forward to in the future.
