but the main problem i can see, is that if you're able to get gear from it, you can easily get the best gear then just hop over to PvP. even if you could only get uncommon gear (green) from this style of dungeon.
probably close to half the money people make in the game comes from selling stuff on the trade tab to other players. I've made over 200k from just selling green equipment I escape with.
and once you've learned all the movesets and attack patterns it would become extremely easy to just clear it several times, get a bunch of money, buy some of the best gear, then dominate PvP lobbies.
this could be solved by making all the gear you get not able to be used in a PvP lobby, but then its just clear the dungeon over and over just for the sake of doing it. Once you've mastered the PvE it would get fairly boring.
even just look at some of the hardest PvE games out there, like many Fromsoft titles. like the dark souls series, bloodborne, sekiro, elden ring.
players do challenges like level 1, no damage taken, no armor playthroughs because the normal game got too easy and boring for them. That's the problem with PvE, once you master it, it gets boring because it doesn't pose any challenge. there is only reward for little effort.
yeah, and most the players that really want a PvE mode will play only that mode, and as a result quickly master the PvE. making it easy and trivial. at that point, why would players that dont want to PvP even bother playing?
took me not even 10 hours to be able to dominate any PvE mob without getting hit.
i only have around 40 hours played and have no reason to play other than to try and PvP
