Dual Wield
Any tips for countering dual swords? As DK I have shield/mace + two handed and always lose against dual swords. With such DPS, parrying is useless, and the shield is easily broken by a heavy attacks. It seems impossible to win

Yeah i know. But it's not what I'm asking about. I want to know how people counter dual wield bcs i really can't understand. I win in almost every fight with my setup but not against dual swords :death:

Barring positioning, the instances I come out on top of the exchange is like this:
Charge up sword & shield heavy attack, block first few hits of flurry, they either realize you're guarding and charge their own power attack, you release as they release their own heavy, blocking it while connecting yours. Or they just keep spamming lmb, wait until the entire animation is done, release.

You get caught in a positon where you can't stop their heavy attack, interrupt it with grab. If you are running mace, you will probably spend your grab early, since mace heavy takes longer to charge compared to sword & shield.

But all that aside, it's what the poster above said. Not much counter to a DK abusing life on hit with dual swords.

I did notice one and it was the most annoying because its just pure insanity its a rogue using nothing but dexterity they are so Fing fast and nimble that you just cant catch them and they run crossbow shooting every now and again while you run around they never push you or anything just being the biggest annoyance till they know your low and have no heals left its truly the most annoying thing because of the pure dedication to just hunting 1 Fing person like a wolf hunting its prey for hours that said if you catch them in a room and dont let them out they die real quick because of the low stats in everything but their speed

i think combat needs to be closer to chivalry rather the current mechanic . stamina managment , ripostes , actual guard break move , not endless hyperarmor . its pretty dull now when it comes to sword sparing

Yes, absolutely, they just need to change the entire combat system to something else. Great idea. Surely that's something that they can just do, without setting their production schedule back for a year. Just make a completely different system. Brilliant. I can't believe they didn't think of that.

100% hyperarmor is disturbing . etleast poise system or something . no idea about actual damage tracers that chiv use . this game engine use questionable hitboxes it seems but i could be wrong
