New player vs Legendary Heirloom

So trying the game out with my bro, learning mechanics, playing CASUAL, going against duo's with legendary 2 Handed pathfinder... so if im late to the game why should I even try? I played Dark and darker and do very well, we had the perfect setup, elevation, cleric/warrior, healing vertically. I landed 5 heals and 3 bubbles but we got mopped up. Up near cyclops. This is horrible balance, 9k-10k players and we at most get 2 players per game. games last 30 mins. Barely able to learn pvp in this new style of game. Then when we are trying to learn we are going up against mega super sweaty geared players and not actually learning anything. They were death night rogue and they played sloppy only death night fighting us for half the fight. Also never been going up against other clerics, so am I just playing a bad class??? Leaving a negative review for now until they have a gear score que.

So much is wrong with this post. They do have gear score queue, in both modes. Although it's a bit unreliable in the harder mode. Wider range or something. I'm not sure.

You said legendary heirloom, but then said it was a 2 hander. There is no legendary 2h heirloom. Which is it? If it IS one of the legendary heirlooms, just ignore it. They aren't very good. Worse than a decent blue, usually. A purple heirloom, or any purple, is definitely better than those legendary heirlooms.

As for the 2 players per game, that's because of the gear based match making. If you run juiced in classic, you'll get pretty active lobbies. Especially once the weekend is over and clotho's closes again. I imagine you were running fairly low gear score casuals. Not a lot of people queuing for that right now, which is why you are only getting 2 people.

Lol, you are right don't try go play fortnite. Those who do try and learn and grind some actual skill take those heirloom runners down and take their crap. 2 people is triggering however not the end of the world and can be defeated if you play smart.

@Antpile So how does someone get a legendary 2 handed sword at the start of a casual game? We were just goin in with heirloom, I don't even know if it is possible to get legendary Heirloom, i said im new, so Im just being matched up with people that have legendary in CASUAL.

@Aarcadius Play "SMART" how come nobody is playing cleric, im duo and have NEVER once matched up with another duo on a cleric. I expended all my mana, landed all my heals "and did damage with the aoe heal", used 3 bubbles, and yet still lost. With height advantage, healing my tank. hmm? Can you tell me a smarter play. it was vs a deathnight and rogue as a cleric warrior.

Preists are currently only used in trios, the rest of your issue is literally in the patch notes and guides.. Why do games have to hold your hand? You like it? find out how to win at it. And even then someone will still find a way to beat you... That's the fun part. Small steps.
