Dark & Darker easy mode
I can see which people are drawn to this game. It is the ones who simply do not want to put in the effort to get better at dark and darker. This is easy mode, and plays like a mobile game. No thanks.

You mean it's easier than a game where you can stand on top of a pillar and spam-click left mouse button to farm a mini-boss?

Dark and Darker melee combat is just sad. You feel like you're moving underwater and it's the exact same attack string every time. at least there's more spells to choose from in DaD, but the combat is so slow paced by comparison, and i like a faster game.

Dark and darker isnt harder for any good reason. The reason it's harder is because it could be from the 1990s with how ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ the graphics are & how basic the game is. You rely on cheese & 1 pigeonholed build rogue to do anything. It's legit an awful game. This game is 100000% better in everyway lol

I don't know, it's easy mode because you can block attacks? Dark and Darker is really fun, but you cannot block attacks with some weapons and dodging can only do so much.

all skill issues, guys, and clearly Dooki, you were not around in the 90s lol. I think what we are seeing here is the mobile games generation being attracted to games that look and play more like a mobile game. That's fine, but I feel it is important to understand that on both sides. If you like this game better, that's ok, but imo, it's nowhere near a superior game, and it looks more like a mobile\arcade game.

Better and more fluid controls and combat can mean easy mode to some people I guess.

Quit making things up, this has an actual combat system, and you don't just cheese bosses by standing on stuff, dark and darker combat is soooo jenky.

irony, since DB has better graphics, animations, lighting, physics, and smoother combat than DaD, which went free to play like a mobile game.

I played DD and it is an extremely frustrating game. DD has a locked combat where non-mage characters gain an absurd advantage where they just need to attack repeatedly and win. Dungeon Borne is 1000x better.

And here every mage can walk away from every enemy with no threat…

I don't understand what you mean, but moving away/fleeing is still a more preferable defensive maneuver than OP units that can destroy all creatures and Players in the Dungeon just by pressing a button.

You talking about this game?
Like i dunno man spin to win and super fire ball blitz has been kinda game breaking.

I meant that DD is very frustrating for wizards, non-magic characters gain a lot of advantage 1vs1.
Dungeonborne at first seems more balanced, I died by another non-mage player in Dungeonborne in seconds, but because he set a trap against me.
In DD a mage alone is easy prey for any other class.
In fact, in Dungeonboorn I only played with cryomancer

Your taking about ranger, a ranged class. They’re the only one who can set up traps- so if you fell into on that’s kinda on you.

And again wizard sucks. All the other magic users are fine in comparison, OP even actually with stuff like warlock and their self healing.

I think we're not understanding each other here lol
I didn't say I wasn't guilty of falling into a trap. It was actually an ambush and not a physical trap placed in the game, he wanted me to get closer and stood near a door waiting for me to open it because he knew that from a distance I would have the advantage and so he just had to apply countless blows against me. and in a matter of seconds my Cryomancer was dead.

Were you the one who suggested I play DD? I like playing magic, if the wizard class is terrible, then I lose interest easily. DD is a very unbalanced game to have PVP, if it were just coop it would be better.

Yeah this game is dark and darker but they removed a ton of mechanics this is for the CoD players who dont like to think
