Remnant 2 and numerous other UE5 games have the same issue for a lot of 13900k etc users when launching the game. The "fix" is to downclock the CPU, set the performance cores multiplier slightly lower.
If you google UE5 13900k out of memory issue you will get thousands of hits.
You can either downclock the CPU to 52-54 or try to enforce launching it with dx11.
Thanks, I was one of the first people to report this issue on the first few Unreal Engine 5 releases that came out on steam lol.
Yeah with how powerful these modern cpus are nowadays, even if you downclock it by 200 or 300 mhz, you really aren't losing out on hardly any performance loss.
The higher end cpu's just run hot and the manufacturers try to squeeze out every inch of performance they can out of them. I always undervolt my Amd Cpu's too now to keep them running cooler.
Glad to hear it fixed your issues in many games!
It launches, but when im in the menu or matchmaking, my GPU ramps up to 100% for some reason and gets super hot. Haven't played a game, but not trying to cook my stuff...
