u died - u lose everything
You lose everything on you when you die. Unless your playing in a party and can get a buddy to loot you or res you to give back to you later.
I suggest reading the guides, like the quests suggested when you first started the game.
There's a giant warning box that pops up BEFORE you go into a match that warns you about the permanent item loss if you die... did you neglect to read it?
This is 100% a you problem, and I'm not trying to be mean this is just how extraction based games like this work. You clearly didn't know what kind of game you were playing and that's entirely on you.
Nature of the game. When I was playing, I just ran in with the basic starter equipment (rusty busted stuff) and occasionally a stack of healing potions to stockpile gear until I had a decent buffer and more experience on my characters. I kind of disagree with the design behind character levels, part of it being that they factor into equipment to figure stats like damage from what I've heard, and there doesn't appear to be any exp penalties for death. It blunts the balancing aspect of gear loss imho
It is just your turn to wear it.
That is the whole point of this genre.
It thrives from highs and lows.
The run you make it out with a big treasure. The run where you lose your beloved kit.
I find it creates more memorable moments.
Guess it is just not for you and that is ok.
Not the account with multiple game bans telling others to "get gud". You should level up in life.
Also, so many comments here not understanding the issue. all the welcome gifts, and event gifts can easily get lost by a new player that has no idea what they are doing yet in their first match. the UI, and tutorial is pretty much non-existent.
Again, that stuff should be going into the STASH. you should have to PURPOSELY move it into your loadout to use it, or lose it.
With that I agree 100% - but than OP started mixing it up and blaming the game loop.
I had inventory full of mana and health potions and I did not even know how to use them. :D
When still learning the game it is better just go in with default item set. :D
