No controller support?

Many people prefer it, and many people need it due to various medical reasons. It's also not that difficult to set up in the engine, so why not add it get as many sales as possible! I for one will pass if it does not have it on release.

Yes exactly this. I only play games with a controller. This game looks fun and I would like to play it, but it’s just another one of those pc games with no official in-game controller support.

XBOX controller works but the triggers are reversed and nothing seems to change them. Be it in game, steam enabled nor xpadder.

Fixed it. Go to community controller layouts and search for Dungeon Crawler.

Cant loot with it though which is the most important part of the game.

Controller support will never be added. It comes down to education. It’s real easy to become a dev with incomplete knowledge of how to create a game that ticks all the boxes for maximum revenue. It’s embarrassing to see indie devs shoot themselves in the foot like this. It needs to be a part of development, not added afterwards. That’s why games in which devs that they hope to add it later almost never do. Business 101 - develop a game with controller support because of Steam Deck sales and sales from gamepad players. Plus, it’s will be ready to port to console.

yup. already 10-20% of pc gaming sessions are done using a pad, not to mention all the steam deck players now. good job losing probably a third of your revenue because you live in 2010
