Quality of Life suggestions: Movement/Hydro Bay
Exactly as the title says, just some QoL suggestions. Feel free to ignore if you think they mess too much with the pacing or other design related things.

1. Sprint function
I feel after you reach the point in the story where you need either the galley or hydroponics Bay to continue, the ship starts to get a lot bigger. But even aside from that, some planets have way more space to walk around than others. And our 100% completion nutters will want to explore everything so they can have their peace of mind of not having missed anything.

I think it would be easiest to implement it via an upgrade you can buy with just credits and is always active. For example:
-Dynamo boots - "They somehow make you run faster"
or
-Speedrecord boots - "You run like a Free man" (I think you get the reference xD)

2. Hydroponics Bay
Regardless of Size, plants have a hitbox and cannot be moved through. If you plant seeds in all Hydro.-Bay tiles, you cannot access the back row, but the game may still spawn food items on tiles occupied by a plant. I think removing the hitbox on the hydro bay plants should fix that, unless thats impossible due to specific coding stuff.

Sorry for the Wall of Text, but I wanted to properly explain things instead of just making demands, as i think that is just rude.

+1 to this. I wiped out a full hydro bay after I realized I wouldn't be able to walk through it. I was looking forward to cooking, too!

If I can add:
If you use the magnets to pull something towards you, you should have to release the button before you can start throwing it, since the timing is too narrow. And you should be able to change direction while you're charging a throw.

I know it's kinda done so you don't put things down where you shouldn't, but then it can just negate the throw if you're facing an invalid direction.
