Full Screen Still Not Working
Hi devs,

I read with great interest how you spent a year fixing the Windows 10 bug in Velocity 2X. However, you still seem to have an outstanding bug that has been mentioned on this forum before.

After an update, I don't remember which, my saves were wiped and full screen does not work, no matter what options you set in the launcher. I am not the only one to have this problem.

I have yet to see you even address this bug in the forums. Could you please at least respond? I would very much like to play this game again, especially after 2X.

Thanks,
FM

My specs:

Intel i5 3570K oc'd to 4.2ghz
16GB RAM DDR3
Windforce Nvidia GeForce GTX 670 factory oc'd
Windows 10 64 bit

In what way doesn't it work? When I first launched it I had a problem I've had with a number of games that don't recognise Windows UI scaling (I have my desktop at 150% so I can read text on my TV). The game wouldn't fit in the full screen view, it was zoomed in and I couldn't even read the menu, let alone play the game.

If that's the issue, find the game's executable, right-click on it and select properties, choose the compability tab, then check the option to override DPI scaling behaviour.

If that's not the issue... sorry, can't help you.

I've resolved mine issue by this method, good luck!

The game created the two following directories for storing settings:
%AppData%\Local\Curve Studios\VelocityョUltra\
%AppData%\Local\Curve Studios\Velocity®Ultra\

Using the setup program changes the config.ini in the Velocity®Ultra directory, but the one the game actually reads is in the \VelocityョUltra\ directory. I had to manually copy and paste the settings from \Velocity®Ultra\config.ini to \VelocityョUltra\config.ini to have them actually take effect.

You are a god-send! This worked! Man, it's been over a year since I played this. Instant +karma for you!
