Michael Todd, though he only confirmed this through a private channel, mentioned that he had someone (of whom he wished to keep anonymous due to their position with a much bigger project) did provide some audio for the moaning checkpoints. I believe the person may be the male ones, as there are probably loads of female samples that could be used freely.
