S:Dive, Kick(Awesome specials, nice speed, all MUs are even(Stream 7-3, Jefailey 7-3) IMO)
A+:Kung Pao, Dr. Shoals(Nice moving abilities, good MUs)
A:S-kill(Not higher becouse of teleporting frames and bad MU vs. Baz(No parry, and Baz can trap him in TP pretty ez)And not lower becouse of Parry, fast meter building)
B:Markman, Redacted, Uncle Sensei, Mr.N(They all just middle tier, nothing special)
C:The Baz(I think Baz have some potential, good anti-air special, but Air special is bad and easy counterable), Kenny(Randomness, nuff said)
D:Stream, Jefailey(They just worst. Awful specials and Jefailey's head hitbox is getting bigger after he wins)
It's just my opinion, dont take it serious.
Discuss.
Kung Pao at first glance doesn't seem good, but her kick can be easily underestimated. I really don't like using her, but I like it less going against someone who really knows how to use her well.
What gems do yall usually use? I seem to just use the kick gem all the time. Meter gain seems to be really good if thats your strategy. Does anyone ever use the Dive gem? That just affects your jumpin, right?
^ THIS, right here, yup. I also feel like i am forced to push in hard when Baz players start off the match by chargin that meter up. I CAN;T LET DAT HAPPEN, GO AWAY FULL METER BAZ, I DON'T WANT YOU ON MY COMPUTER SCREEN. Full meter baz is god tier.
Special note goes out to YOLO Gem, though, which is pretty hilarious to use against Jefailey players because if you get that headshot (which is probably easier than not at that point), you're pretty much guaranteed chain headshots until you win.
I'd inch towards him to force him to move to the other side if he wanted to keep building meter or die. Never caught him, but he never caught me. First round I won the line cause he launch himself too far. Second round, we both got kickfactor roughly the same time, but I got mine right after him(He launched himself at me to get kickfactor in typical baz fashion, and me as Dive I knew I could jump over him normally, so I waited until I could kick for kickfactor), and everytime he tried to smack himself into me, I'd fly off the screen and out of his range. He could never touch me as I jumped over him 3 times easy, then his kickfactor would run out and mine was still in play, and I'd smash his face in.
We did this dance twice, then he gave up building meter and came at me. Oh man that didn't work for him at all. I think he got bazually frustrated from my Dive Trolling.
I don't even play Dive on ranked, that was an accidental pick. But that match was hilarious and worked out in my favor.
Divekick is way more about matchups than straight up Tier listing when it comes down to it, but sometimes thinking outside the box can still work in your favor, even in a game with 2 buttons.
And I will keep that in mind for S-Kill, as I wanna start using him later on. When I first got the game, I thought him to be top, tier, and especially after watching

Basically Mean Saltine kickbacked after every attempt to punish and Adelheid couldn't get a kill.
With all the practice everyone has put in, she probably knows what to do in that situation now, but it's probably still a bad situation for S-Kill.
