the originals offered MSAA, which is rarely used these days due to its heavier performance cost. classic collection exclusively offers FXAA which is negligible performance wise, but while MSAA actually addresses jaggies directly, FXAA is really just a post processing filter that smoothens the entire picture. there's a distinct washy look to FXAA which is probably what you're referring to, id try toggling it to see if that's what's bothering you
Turned FXAA off but most unfortunately it doesn't make a difference.
