Switch version : 0 players online??
So I decided to buy switch version instead

But once I go to multiplayer, there's 2 servers in Battlefront 1 with 0/64 players. Tried quick play and no luck getting into a match with real players as well

Battlefront 2 has more servers (5 or 6) but all servers are also 0/64 players.

Am I missing anything or why does it show 0 players online? Hard to believe no one is playing online since it is the 3rd top selling game on Nintendo eshop

Not really surprising...
The switch doesn't scream "competitive multiplayer console"

I'd say that's probably the worst version you could have picked.

Hard to believe switch ver has 0 players online globally though

Anyone got switch ver and was able to get into the game?

Also i was hoping player base will be substantial on switch as theres not a lot of first person shooter online to play

Switch is a weird platform. It's dated hardware and quite frankly doesn't have the competitive edge to attract multiplayer numbers for non Nintendo IP titles.

I bet the only way that the Switch could attract any good online player numbers would be if they made their online pvp service free. They would be the only console that doesn't require a subscription to be able to play online.

Battlefront is FAR from being a competitive game series lmfao. It's a casual star wars shooter from the early 2000s, back when people knew how to just have fun with playing a game normally.

Back when players would avoid using op weapons in games so that the server could have fun. Different times.

Wait so this game is region locked? I live in Thailand, so meaning no one near me is playing this game at all?

With no crossplatform/crossplay and region locked, im very concerned as I was hoping for long term multiplayer

Nah, probably a bug. Perhaps they just don't appear online. Keep reloading, apparently that helped on pc

Edit: or yeah, maybe the region lock.
