Is it just me or is BF1 better than BF2

The UI, general intergaces and gameplay, even graphics are better IMO. I've been playing BF2 but went to BF1 and instantly like it much more.

yep BF2 is more arcadey and less of a battleground and you have less control of your AI teammates. They seem stupider too.

I like them both but BF1 is my favorite and I haven't been able to play it in years. I'm enjoying the multiplayer as much as I can before it's gone. Then I'll play the singleplayer.

bf1 is alot better but bf2 improved everything else, i personally wish they added every single bf1 map into bf2.

other than that i'd say theyre both different games with the same theme and idea, both have their plus and minus

BF1's Campaign is more varied but becomes more BS when you hit ESB missions like Hoth where the enemy has 25% more tickets and infinite command posts due to the AT-ATs

BF2 is more arcadeish and has more story moments but still treats it like a 1 trick situation.

BF1s UI feels more "Star Wars" where BF2's Feels more run of the mill 2000s FPS UI

Bf1 has more saturated colors and looks appealing.
Bf2 on the other hand has a more unsaturated color palette and seems a bit dull to the eye.

Bf1 maps are more varied and larger compared to small choky maps of Bf2.

Basically if you like huge maps with lots of vehicles then Bf1 excels in that.

It's been so long since I played bf1 I don't remember this at all.

Pretty much only played the kashyyk map in bf2 and it felt huge

No. The reason why the maps feels larger on bf1 are because you can't run.

Maps like Mustafar, Tantive IV are larger than Kashyyk Docks or Bespin Cloud City?
Nah, in general Bf1's map pool consisted of large open maps where you could even have fighters and bombers. Most of the bigger maps in Bf2 are just direct copies of original Bf1 maps anyways.
Bf2 changed things up and focused on space battles and ignored developing new large open area maps.

I guess if there's one good thing that came out of this bundle so far, it's that people finally realize BF1 is also super worth playing. BF1 has way better maps, focusing on combined arms whereas 2 is much more on Infantry.
I hope the servers get fixed and people come back so I can play it. Was fun to play online in the first hour

pretty much bf2 fixes half the sh*t bf1 has,
bf1 has the better gameplay where as bf2 has bigger map size improved movement added rolling in all directions just to know a few things done better with bf2,

battlefront 1 has better gameplay imo better gunplay faster battles and proning just to know a few for bf1.

Prone is such a big deal for me. I use it a lot. I play as engineer and like to repair stuff.

Currently the online servers for BF1 work, you can't browse for a server but if you quick join you should be able to get in a match to experience the old multiplayer
