Sure, 30 bucks is not much in the grand scheme of things and so on, but that's the running price for a proper remake (eg. Nightdive's System Shock remake).
Thanks for the replies.
I mean you can... you can play the game and decide for YOURSELF if you're having a good time or not, you don't have to base whether or not you have fun with it on what the reviews say you should feel
They literally said they're working as we speak on the server issues so I'd check back daily, see if there's news updates rather than asking the playerbase about it (it's also Star Wars, and nobody utterly despises anything and everything Star Wars as deeply and venomously as Star Wars fans)
Not saying the collection's perfect but just warning that people are gonna keep saying it's broken even if they haven't played in, like, months, and the issues happen to have been fixed by then, same logic as those negative reviews for games that go "I will update this if my issue is fixed" and the issue was fixed like, a week after said review, yet the review's still negative a year later
Unfortunately the game had a launch problem, and that means players are gonna have the exact same opinion on it as launch day no matter how much gets fixed, no matter how fast or slow said fixing is done, they will feel the same way and give you the same answers until the heat death of the universe
This post brought to you by DICE gang
I highly doubt they'll give a singular frunk about this game or anyone at all. Absolute socksucking motherplunkers, every single company who knowingly releases games that aren't finished or properly functional.
Yeah, I'll have to agree 100% with that. I made this thread either shorty before or immediately after the devs. released their first post-launch announcement. I was actually a bit worried about the radio silence at that time, so I decided to lurk in here and gauge the game that way.
I am a bit conflicted. On one hand, I want to buy this game because a) I haven't played any of the OG Battlefronts since like early 2006 and would love to revisit them without needing to install mods and fixes just to have the games run, and b) I really want to know what all the negative fuzz is about lol.
On the other hand, if the devs leave this game to die, it would be pretty obvious that this was all a cash grab, and I really don't want to contribute to those practices as a consumer.
