Aspyr hates PC gamers

The last good thing they did was KOTOR 2 update in 2015. Since then they have ignored the PC community. They have updated numerous Star Wars games on console since that time, Ep 1 racer, Jedi Outcast, Republic Commando etc. Yet couldn't bother to give the updates on steam. Even when asking them through forums they delete the posts and through email they blocked me, and it was a simple ask, I didn't even go all Andy Dufresne like I usually do.

This is the first time we got a bone on PC in 9 years but it's a separate release that is worse. All they had to do was update the old games with resolutions, proper gamepad support and achievements. Aside from them screwing this up, it's also really annoying having multiple of the same game in your library because the publisher couldn't be bothered.

Aspyr should be boycotted on PC, although I expect to be silenced and this thread deleted in 3, 2, 1...

besides the switch port of the wii version of the force unleashed every star wars project aspyr has done has been just simple ports. theres basically no difference between the modern console version and the pc version of those games

I used PS Rewards points to get the PS5 version, and it's actually worse. Some of the graphical glitches on PS5 are far worse than on Steam. Go find a video of someone playing the Hoth map on PS5. Holy crap.

achievements dont matter and i imagine you can mod in gamepad support

I like what I have just give me a seperate dedicated server tool so I don't have to buy two copies of the game on different accounts just to run a dedi-server. Like Aspyr you should've given the heads up on that ♥♥♥♥ there.

have you played them or looked up videos for them? besides the battlefront classic collection the only one with any improvements was the force unleashed for the switch which was a port of the wii version with improved textures and it can be played with a actual controller instead of a motion controller. those are the 2 with the most work done to them. the BF classic collection has engine improvements and is now 64 bit so its really the only one that the original pc release cant be better than in every way (but from what i'm hearing the original pc version is better). the visuals, gameplay, and plot are all the exact same with everything else.

no i own kotor for switch and pc, i own the force unleashed on switch (and had the wii version the switch version is a port of), and i own republic commando on ps4 and pc. all the others i dont own yet but have watched comparison videos of. yes some of them are not available on pc digitally (at least officially) but ALL of them are on pc and the pc version is often superior. the very few changes to the ports of the games are also available on pc through mods. the ONLY thing your missing out on is achievements which dont matter in the slightest.

Maybe not to you but many people want achievements. The point is you're saying they're identical and they are not. Aspyr keeps putting out these updates on console and not PC.

they are though. same gameplay, some story, same content, same graphics
