Splitscreen.

Unless I am missing something you can not play splitscreen with one person using a keyboard and mouse and the other person uses a controller. Shame really. I don't really want to go out and buy another controller just to play split screen with a friend.

you can tell them to stay at their house and use remote play together... XD

Not when that friend is in the same house. I am trying to play with my brother through remote play it won't let one of us use keyboard and the other with controller, when we take it to the one computer it doesn't pick up keyboard and controller together to do it that way either.

It is basically forcing you both to have a controller.

Yeah that was a deal breaker for me. I was so hyped to be able to enjoy this classic with my wife, but she prefers keyboard (she's like controller challenged). Apparently, splitscreen requiring a controller for both players seems to be the least of the problems though. Either way I'm getting a refund.

So i found my old xbox series s controller, got it to work for my brother, once you're in past the split screen page the person who is in charge of the remote play can unplug their controller and use keyboard,
