spawn menu is much better in original pc version of Battlefront 2.

Because you selected your class and where you want to spawn all in one menu.

But now in this version of BF 2, you have to select your spawn point in one menu, then select your class in the next menu.(And you can't choose your class with mouse)

They ported over the console version of the menus. The PC version of the classic has completely different menus that were better for PC. Part of the reason I say it's a lazy retexture and dump, and refunded it.

It annoys me that youtubers praised aspyr for porting the console version menus. It felt like they don't know how easier it was to navigate around the menus in original pc version.

The Console menus are better for controller support and look better too.
I'm glad they aren't using the trash PC menus on this release.

You shouldn't play a shooter game on pc with controllers.

Well, that's subjective. I liked the PC menus. If they actually put effort into this release, they would have let you choose between the two.
