Mostly Negative (20% of 1,972) ALL TIME
There just isn't enough there for me to justify the price. Especially with so many mods available for the 2005 version that update the visuals. Plus, they ported over the console menus rather than actually give us the great PC menus that 2005 has now. I said elsewhere on the forum that the Destroy All Humans 2 remaster is $5 dollars more and is basically a ground up remake. No way this is worth $30-$35 for what they did.
Well, I'm sorry the OG BF2 doesn't work for you, but it does for me and I prefer the modded textures to the ai upscaled stuff. Plus the menu in the PC version of OG is way better for MnK. Only real problem is no ultrawide support, and it's only a bit better in this new one.
But that's my problem. If you're charging $35 for these games, then I shouldn't be able to weigh pros and cons between them. The new version should just be straight up better, and it's arguably not.
Mostly negative in less than 3 days of release, how much you can trust that stat??, you can give 0 trust to more than 1000 reviews from people that doesn't even own the game, in less than 3 days of release
This is understandable and everyone has a different opinion on the value of things. Imagine in a year or two though when this collection gets modded textures on the new 64 bit upgrade. I don't know anything about the technical side of modding, but I would imagine that will open the door to alot more options than the originals have including texture modding.
Obviously it's not worth it to you now as you say, but in a year this game will be on-sale for atleast 25-50% off I'd say. At that point this collection will be a no brainer over the originals. It's a nice addition to the Star Wars franchise and to keep such great games alive for years to come in my opinion.
I always think about how Lord of the Rings BFME series is kind of just lost in time. A remake of that would be fantastic, but unfortunately it has not and probably will not ever get such treatment. Especially, if companies who bring back these old games get the backlash this one has received. If in a month the servers still suck then by all means complain, but give them time to fix it before review bombing. Gaming communities are becoming too toxic.

Can't make new fleets on galactic conquest
Can't select other planets one fleet is not on in galactic conquest
God awful main menu UI
That's great that YOU'RE having fun. More power to you. That doesn't mean the issues that are there are negligible. People are pointing out objective issues and you're saying "Nuh uh" cuz you subjectively like it.
