I rarely leave a bad review for a game. But every single server has over 200 ping. Every single dedicated server. Wtf

Plus many of the configuration options are missing. I can't invert the mouse look for starship vehicles
this video time stamp at 1:39. will show you how to fix the invert issue https://www.youtube.com/live/ojZ6QGwtTxU?si=pv8s3whHIfpi-KVB

Just server issues, join player hosted servers. 1000x better

I just want to put out there that you can get the Destroy All Humans 2 remaster (another game I spent hours playing on PS2) for $5 more. A game with brand new mechanics, a whole graphics overhaul, and updates to the original boss fights. Compared to this which is just a retexture and a semi-working multiplayer. It doesn't seem like it's fairly priced for what it is.

Yes im a steam troll because they turned a game mode typically lasting nearly 15 mins into 2-4 mins matches sorry my bad? on me i guess?

There have been many reasonable complaints centered around the online play. BF2 is rubber banding if it works at all online, and there are various bugs and glitches that are present at launch. Launch was a disaster last night, and the online mode was over run by the quantity of people trying to play all at once. After about 2 hours of game play I found some tips and tricks to make things work, but still its wild. I wont refund though I know itll be at least a month before they fix any of that.

because they dont know how to press refresh in the server browser

because they dont know how to press refresh its the funniest thing i seen in a long time. the majority of current negatives from just an hour ago are servers issues of there only being three or none, because they dont know how to press the refresh button.

there are 42 servers up from aspyr with a ton of player servers up currently.

It’s more than just bad servers. There are tons of graphical bugs and sound issues and some straight up missing content (cutscenes and such) on some platforms. I personally couldn’t even play it when I tried because it crashed every time I tried to join a multiplayer match. I requested a refund and I know many others have, which I’m hoping tells Aspyr they need to actually fix their game if they want people to play it. I’m hoping these issues get resolved and I can buy it again, but Aspyr doesn't have a great track record.

Because half the campaign CGs in rise of the empire is missing, you only see the pre mission cutscene, not the post mission cutscene, so half the story is missing.

it's not review bombing if it's true

Actually it is indeed review bombing. People are buying the game, refunding it 2 minutes later just so they can get the review rights to drag it through the mud. If you pay close attention to the people who have been bombing the review section, they have less than 5-20 minutes in game. It is 100% Steam Trolls at it again for review bombing because they werent catered to.
Disney can't feel how hard you're sucking btw.

I'm afraid that it would be a very dangerous precedent, if community let sh..t like this slide.

Disney doesn't own the 2004/5 Battlefront IP.

What do you mean Disney doesn't own Star Wars IP? Yes they absolutely do own this product. Just because they aren't publishing or developing it doesn't mean they don't own the IP. They licensed it to Aspyr.

Not even gonna dignify you with a response other than that you can't read.

-Needlessly upscaled textures which blow up the storage space, including ones not even used in-game.

-BF1 movement somehow feels even more stiff than retail

-BF1 loading screen bugged

Victory/Defeat music either incorrectly pitched or gone outright

-BF2 campaign outro cutscenes missing

-UI does not scale to monitor

-Specular lighting vomit to pass for "improved graphics"

-Console UI just doesn't gel with PC

-BF2 netcode even worse than retail

-Stolen content from modders (Xbox heroes)

If I missed anything let me know
