How do you screw this up?
Seriously, how do you screw this up?!? You'd have to have the IQ of a houseplant to mess this up and yet they managed!

Yeah. Blows my mind they can take a couple games from 2004 and 2005 and have them run this poorly on modern systems. Its an absolute disgrace.

I mean, there are plenty of older games that don't play nicely with modern systems (I've had a hell of a time getting Vietcong to run smoothly, and for some reason Medal of Honor: Allied Assault hasn't ran right on anything newer than Windows 7... it still runs, but it feels like it has about 50ms of input lag on the multiple systems I've tried it on which is weird because every other Q3 engine game runs flawlessly), but this is a re-release so that should have been fixed. The lack of servers is another huge gaf. Did they not realise that a ton of people want to play the game?

The original runs fine on my pc, I refunded this, went to the original and it plays and looks better.

I honestly haven't gone that route. I played the originals on xbox. I still play BF1942 occasionally on PC and that works perfectly well (with server browser fixes), but that's the disc copy so I'm not sure how it works for anyone with an Origin (SORRY!!!! EA Play) copy. I know I have the issue with MOHAA regardless of where I get it from as I own it in disc version, Origin/EA Play, and GOG with the same result.
