Only reason I ask is because on another game discord a few people identified the Xbox wireless controller as causing low fps on some configurations.
If not ignore this.
Broken Audio for loading screens, objective completion, missile lock on, some music also sounds incorrect or slowed down.
Multiplayer has 3 active servers with only 1 conquest server at launch. BF1 has literally 0 servers at launch.
Game somehow manages to be 62GB unpacked. 4x the size of the original games put together.
It's already working. Just played 3 games. The game is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ though lmao like the game itself. I really remembered it wrong LOL I don't wanna be one of those losers who would spend more than 50 hours on this old garbage, even back then. Still a fun little dip back into memory lane. Maybe I'll play a game or two of this neanderthal trash here and there.
They delivered exactly what they stated in the store page.
Hopefully they can patch the remaining issues and I'm very happy.
Some*
And it's definitely an issue, I was editing my post as you typed this sorry but yeah not exactly representative of the people playing up the server count and other non-issues.
I've seen a lot of complains about gameplay and other features which is just exactly how they were in the OG. Maybe rose tinted glasses.
And even if it launched with 0 ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ servers (it launched with way more than 3 ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥) I thought the whole point was you could host your own?
I was excited for an update that would make the PC version work better on PC.
The old PC version has awful issues with UI scaling, and a complete lack of support for modern resolutions, framerates, and controllers.
I expected, at the bare minimum, this game would properly support modern resolutions and framerates without scaling issues, not launch a new window when you join a game, and have polished modern controller and M+KB support.
Instead, I get a game in 2024 with a launcher that looks like it was made in MS Word that opens new windows when you start up matches, with absurd mouse sensitivity that cannot be adjusted, that removed control options, whose controller support feels like it was just mapped to M+KB inputs instead of feeling anything like it did on console, it's missing content, it uses a jank mod to bring the DLC instead of using the actual ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ content, is full of audio issues, and has even more graphical issues than the original.
And that's all ON TOP of the fact that multiplayer isn't even working.
I haven't tried it on console. But here's how I'd rank the launches:
Xbox Backwards compatibility > Xbox original > PC original > > > PC Collection
You can't change your mouse sensitivity or are you only talking about in the menus?
