is it worth it to get this game?
I want to play the game, i don't really care about the online stuff, at most I might play with my friends.

I want support for ultra wide screen, without the tiny text you can't see on battefront 2 classic, or the stretched images.

I can't even make mods work to fix it on that one.

So, is this version at least fun to play? Worth the money?
If I don't care about the online play?

As someone who gave this game a try and being a complete solo player i would say it is good enough, but i would wait for a discount.
Full price isn´t worth it, 20ish bucks would be ok.

But thats just my opinion.
nope. ai upscaling makes the game look ass compared to the og's, uw support is still bugged on bf1 (cropped ui elements), huge folder size bc of the texture files (og's with modpacks and graphics mod doesn't even come close), bugged lifetime stats that stop tracking eventually, dead lobbies (if you and the boys ever decide to want to join and stomp pubs, that ain't happening), interior lighting also still messed up, no og font, mod compatibility prone to breaking with each update (although looks like the devs are done).

it's worth it on console, maybe not on xbox. on pc? aw hell nah brother. maybe if it's on sale for 10 bucks and you don't have the originals in your library (still would rather fork over 10 bucks more for the og's). og bf1 works great with uw, unlike this port. that tiny ass font in bf2? multiple workarounds for that. only way it's worth it on pc is if you're an achievement hunter or you like burning money.
In xbox all payed games you need subscription on pc you can play fully freely unlimited it's definitely worth of there is lot of hero's and gamemode and also in steam games discount are high

Just stick with the originals. Buying both games individually costs less and takes up less space than this bundle. Plus the "HD" textures look like garbage, HarrisonFog's Battlefront 2 remastered mod unironically looks better.

thank you, and thank you to everyone who commented on this.
I will keep all this in mind. I suck at modding this game, I don't know why.

I will try harrissonfog this time around, I used anakins, and it went poorly.

the shots aim like, 3 inches above the reticle, all the icons stretched super wide, and the text, you can't even read

You're welcome! If you're having trouble installing mods, there's plenty of tutorials you can find. BF2 still has a big modding community to this day. I'd recommend HarrisonFog's remaster mod if you want visual improvements, the improved sides mod is also very nice and can be used without the remaster mod. It even has its own skin changer.

stick with the original ports if you want a more functional game that is less buggy but awful controls on pc imo, still better then a poor remaster that aspyr seem to have abandoned cause i havent seen an update since release day.

The bugs are fixed they didn't leave the game

I think the game worth it def. Kind of agree with the first comment from black wait until a sale since multiplayer isn't what you're after though. I personally think the game looks a lot better obviously with no mods installed onto the OG and you can play Galactic Conquest with your friends with the like Steam Together play or whatever so basically online. (which I also believe is still not something you can do on the OG version best you got is a mod that would allow 2 people on the same PC) Galactic Conquest with friends online makes the full price worth it to me but that's just me.

good to know. I mean, I **HAVE** modded the heck out of the OG, and it just... ugh.
I don't know, maybe I'm modding it wrong, but it just doesn't feel good to play?
I'd rather play it without the graphics mods at that point, because it feels really... off. I don't know how to explain it
