don't really think i need to apologize for anything, i bought this 100% to play online, i was hoping that this title would breathe more life into the small community of people still playing Battlefront, but i was wrong. they failed the launch, kept us in the dark with patches/updates, took forever to release the updates/patches, and as a result i now have a $30 game with no online playerbase.

Honestly i agree with most of what you said but they did give info on patches and as far as patch progress went they were bout on par with how fast they did it. The first patch just didnt address severe issues..

The game ain't even worth it in a fixed state. It's 72 GB (on PC) in size while the OG games combined are only 15 GB. No one should apologize to a company's incompetence at making a decent modern port of two games from 2004 and 2005, especially when the original versions are still available to buy and are way better to play.

Alright so it's 30 GB now thanks to the new update, but the multiplayer netcode is still broken and they also used actual mods without the original creators' permissions so barely even an improvement.

Netcode works last i checked and i run on 1.6-2.7mb/s top. pretty sure whatever it would be your side or some weird bug you got. As for the size I dont see many people complain bout size of other games much not much reason (as of the lowered file size we have now) to hate it. All in all from what you got theres no issue.

2 months....for those small fixes. They abandoned it. If they didn't, the patch notes would be a lot bigger.

Its a average list of fixes lmao what you talking about? "abandoned it" ... then explain the patch abandonment literally means NOTHING would of been done lol. "if they didnt the patch notes would be bigger" do you know what the word abandoned means?

The game was/is maybe still ♥♥♥♥ but give credit where credit is due instead of rage bait.

I have probably only tried online maybe twice ever in all my time owning the disk versions and steam version (before collection)... Online death doesnt mark the death of a game for a majority of people lol. I probably have thousands of hours if you combine whatever CD hours I would of had and its all mostly single player.

It's an average list of as many little fixes they can claim as possible. It's like deliberately using as many words as possible in a homework assignment to get to the required minimum word length.

This was an abysmal release and if we're going off the updates they're providing we'll need a solid dozen or so before we hit the minimum.

People ABSOLUTELY complain about game size. There are whole video essays on Youtube about it including Raycevick. Remember Modern Warfare II from 2022?

yeah no thats average patch man... scroll across any game of any types patch logs thats bout par... not a issue its not fixing small things to make it look like they did something, they just did something lmao.

and as for that last bit, as stated the game is in a complete state? what MAJOR issues are you having I dont see many myself anymore. So where is the hate at without complaining bout launch issues that have been since fixed. (on par time)

"bow down" how about recognizing reality.. ♥♥♥♥ launch was ♥♥♥♥. Now its patched. What delusions are we under where people think its still a broken game.
