I don't get how the textures alone bloat the game to where they are, they still look almost the same as they used to.
I do suspect they probably didn't even bother compressing the files in the first place, however, but again that is a whole 30 GB at most to account for, combining the two games would, at the very least, result in 20 GB storage taken on one's HDD/SSD.
It doesn't make sense to me, there has to be something else.
i don't know if thats true but i read in another discussion that 1 of those cutscene video files aledgidly is about 9 GB.
So does 2. I fail to comprehend a simple upscale could nearly triple the size of the files. Unless there was zero attempt to compress them, which is the case I'm leaning more towards.
These upscalled clips are so huge with I dunno how large bitrate that my GPU chokes when they play.
